This course will review all the competencies for certified Legionella Water Safety and Management Specialists to sit for the ASSE 12080 recertification exam. Recertification enables you to continue to serve as a valued member of the facilities water safety team that protects against Legionella outbreaks through effective water management. The course provides an abbreviated review of all aspects of the ASSE 12080 standard including an overview of: Legionnaires’ disease; Legionella detection, control and prevention; codes, guidelines, and standards; risk assessments and water safety and management programs; and other key areas that assist in reducing the risk of infections from Legionella as well as outbreak response.
