PUZZLED BY THE FIRST PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS STANDARD FOR LEGIONELLA WATER SAFETY AND MANAGEMENT? AUGUST 18
Wednesday, August 18 @ noon EDT
In the summer of 2020, ASSE International passed the first professional qualifications industry consensus standard to address the knowledge, understanding, and skills needed to implement a water safety and management program for Legionella and other waterborne pathogens. The ASSE/IAPMO/ANSI 12080 Professional Qualifications Standard for Legionella Water Safety and Management Personnel establishes the minimum training and education requirements to qualify as a knowledgeable professional. Whether you’re on a water safety team or a service provider, certification demonstrates to employers and clients that you have been trained and are knowledgeable and qualified to serve on facility water management program teams as described by the ASHRAE Standard 188. Learn more about ASSE standard and how to become a certified Legionella Water Safety and Management Specialist.
