PUZZLED BY ENGINEERING SYSTEMS, YOUR INFRASTRUCTURE AND LEGIONELLA CONTROL?
Wednesday, September 29 @ Noon EDT
Healthcare facilities, including hospitals and long-term care centers, are complex building with varied infrastructure and water quality. This makes these facilities especially important for implementing water management programs, and some regulatory and accreditation bodies in the U.S. are, or will be, requiring such programs to prevent illness in patients and residents. Engineering systems are foundational in any water management program and the development and maintenance of these systems and communication with the facility water management team is critical to success. Learn about the Veterans Health Administrations experiences with implementing engineering controls in Legionella prevention programs at hundreds of healthcare buildings across the country, including practical lessons from program implementation.
