JULY 8 @ NOON (EDT)
PUZZLED BY LEGIONELLA REGULATIONS?
Presented by Julianne Baron, PhD, RBP, Vice President of Research & Development and Regulatory Affairs
The publication of ASHRAE Standard 188 in 2015 was a great step towards reducing Legionnaires’ disease risk through water management. However, while this standard remains the industry best practice for prevention, its adoption is voluntary unless it is written into state laws or codes. A recent report by the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine suggests that we can be doing more in the U.S. to minimize risk through mandatory regulations relating to water management. This webinar will touch on guidelines, standards, and laws relating to Legionella and provide some insights into the legislative process.
