Released in January 2021, the toolkit provides information in controlling Legionella in the most common water sources implicated in outbreaks: potable water, cooling towers, hot tubs, decorative fountains, and other devices. Learn more about routine testing for Legionella. We’ll give you the ins and outs of the modules, and answer your questions about controlling Legionella in common sources connected to outbreaks, as well as routine Legionella testing.

Pam Falk is the president of Pamela S. Falk Consulting and has worked in the infection control field for more than 40 years including working in university and community acute care and ambulatory healthcare settings. She is fellow of APIC and SHEA. Pam has lent her epidemiology experience to numerous Legionella projects in several institutions including investigating Legionella outbreaks, creating a water management plans, and developing a water testing program. She attends the CDC HICPAC committee meeting on a regular basis to keep up with the most recent guidelines.
