Renee has been an Infection Preventionist for over 10 years and maintains certifications in both Infection Control and Med-Surg. She completed her Bachelor’s degree in Nursing in 2016. Renee is active in the APIC Palmetto Chapter and has held several roles. She has been a member of the Annual Fall Conference Program multiple times, served as the Lowcountry APIC Palmetto Director and is currently serving as the APIC Palmetto Membership Chair. Renee enjoys teaching and has developed Nursing Orientation classes for New Employees, Introduction to Infection Prevention classes and recently started to branch out preparing and teaching classes for Lowcountry AHEC. Renee is a member of the Water Management Team at her facility and has been involved in investigations potentially related to water within her organization.
